GSL DOME VALVE Hydrocephalus Shunt System is a burr hole type of shunt. It has been designed to shunt Cerebro-Spinal Fluid from left ventricles of brain to the peritoneal cavity or rt. Atrium of heart. The main controlling valve is Dome type of valve, which sits on a silicone seat. Except the connector whole shunt is made of medical grade silicone elastomer only. Each system is supplied complete with one unitised GSL ‘Dome Valve’ reservoir with 90cm radio-opaque distal part, one 15cm sterilised by Ethylene Oxide gas and packed in double peel open packaging.
