The implants are placed within the corpora cavernosa imparting stiffness sufficient for intercourse. Shah Penile Prosthesis without hinge is a semi rigid implant with uniform stiffness that is adequate for intercourse while being flexible enough to permit concealment. It can be trimmed from the proximal end so that a single implant can be adjusted to any penile length. It is easy to implant and most durable. It is better suited for shorter penises.
