Neurosurgical Patties Radio-Opaque

Patties with thread are used to mop blood, fluids and as protective cover for delicate tissues in Neurosurgery and many other specialities. Purpose of thread is to identify the inserted patty. SURGIWEAR has developed world class patties. These are made of spun laced / thermally bonded non woven fabrics. Most of them have viscose as main fibre. These are highly absorbent.
Mechanically / thermally bonded fibres reduce shedding of fibres, reduced linting. Bonded fibres make removal of patties easy. Radio-Opaque types can be identified in X-Ray pictures.
