Thick Neurosurgical Patties Radio-Opaque
Neurosurgical patties are made of viscose non woven fabric with horizontal X-Ray opaque line. A black thread is attached for identification. Neurosurgical patties are supplied in sterile peel open packs on a holding card for easy handling. Radio-Opaque types can be identified in X-Ray pictures.

Patties with thread are used to mop blood, fluids and as protective cover for delicate tissues in Neurosurgery and many other specialities. Purpose of thread is to identify the inserted patty. SURGIWEAR has developed world class patties. These are made of spun laced/thermally bonded non woven fabrics. Most of them have viscose as main fibre. These are highly absorbent.
Mechanically/thermally bonded fibres reduce shedding of fibres, reduced linting. Bonded fibres make removal of patties. Radio-opaque types can be identified in X-Ray pictures.
